ABOUT GRASSAHOL
| Grassahol is a high-energy, five-piece band consisting of Carl Yaffey on banjo, Chas Williams on fiddle; Heidi White playing the bass; Lacy Wright on the Martin guitar; and Scott Brooks on mandolin.
They play a unique brand of acoustic grass roots music including bluegrass, blues and present-day originals – songs that keep folks entertained and tapping their toes. Their songs draw on musical influences in blues, rock, bluegrass, country, folk, and Americana.
Grassahol is based in Columbus, Ohio and entertains audiences across Ohio and the Midwest, from general audiences to hard-core bluegrassers – young and old – in the city or out of town – from the gardens of the Ohio Governor’s Mansion to the main stage at the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival.
The high-energy strains of their music and their tight vocal harmonies make Grassahol music approachable to all audiences. Wherever they play, folks appreciate the emotions in their music and the new way they deliver the sounds of traditional bluegrass, blues and Americana. Grassahol band members are professionals who have a real love of music and a love of sharing it with others. They’d love to have you hear them play!
